The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging seeks to fill a Medical Education Programs Administrator or Medical Education Coordinator position with an individual who will be an integral member of the Education team. The position is responsible for coordinating the Department’s Interventional-Integrated and Interventional-Independent Radiology Residency Programs.
The 5-year IR Integrated Residency and the 1-2 year IR-Independent Residency offer a broad and in-depth experience in the clinical diagnosis and care of patients with diseases commonly treated by an interventional radiologist. These IR residency programs provide trainees with an opportunity to become more familiar with and participate in research to further the field of vascular and interventional radiology. The Medical Education Programs Administrator/Coordinator participates in the planning, preparation, and implementation of programs, daily operations, and educational activities for the IR-Integrated and IR-Independent Residency Programs.
The Medical Education Programs Administrator/Coordinator assists in coordinating the interview process, tracks and coordinates educational learning, monitors program budgets, updates the education website, and prepares daily correspondence. In addition, the incumbent collects and compiles data and ensures that local and national reporting requirements are met. The incumbent in this position stays abreast of policies and procedures regarding residency training and program guidelines.
Other responsibilities of the position include coordinating the day-to-day activities related to New Innovations (tracking evaluations, duty hours, and portfolios, blocking training schedules, and performing other related functions). The incumbent provides administrative support to the program directors and trainees. In addition, the incumbent will perform other responsibilities to support the Department's education programs.

Medical Education Programs Administrator Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience: Two years of experience, preferably providing administrative support to a medical education program.
Medical Education Coordinator Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Two years of administrative support experience. Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
This is a restricted position; continuation is dependent on funding and satisfactory performance.
