The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of pulmonary and critical care with an emphasis on critical care medicine and the delivery of critical care services to oncology patients and lung transplant patients. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification in Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching pulmonary and critical care fellows, residents and medical students. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.

Clinical responsibilities may include consultation and evaluation and management of critically ill patients as an attending on the inpatient medical critical care services within the health system on a growing nocturnal service. Selected candidates will have experience working with advanced practice providers and/or trainees.
