Job Summary

You must be a currently enrolled CSU student.

The student assistant in the CS&IT Lab (aka CS&IT Tutor) will provide tutoring service on computer programming and computer hardware subjects related to lower-division CS&IT courses to help CS&IT students comprehend course material so that they may complete their coursework.

The CS&IT Tutor is scheduled to start working this fall and will work several days a week with a maximum of 20 hours per week during various CS&IT Lab's opening hours.

Please Note: The CS&IT Lab Tutor can work 100% online as a tutor because we are not opening the computer lab in the fall semester due to difficulties with using shared equipment/disinfecting, etc.

Required Qualifications

1) Student must have taken CSCI 1301, 1302, and CSCI 2302
2) Have a grade average in these classes of 3.5
3) Student’s overall GPA should be 3.0
4) They will also need to have a recommendation by at least one CSIT faculty member.
