Position:
College of  Liberal Arts invites applications for a one-year non-tenure-track, full-time lecturer position in Criminal Justice in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology & Criminal Justice beginning in August 2021.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or a related field required. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and to working with a diverse student population, and will be able to teach Research Methods in Criminal Justice.

Responsibilities:

Teach four (4) course units per semester. The candidate will teach CRMJ 368/ Research Methods in Criminal Justice and other introductory and/or upper-level undergraduate courses in criminology or criminal justice, depending on the candidate’s area of specialty and needs of the department.

The department (https://www.towson.edu/cla/departments/socioanthrocrim/ ) offers an undergraduate major in Sociology-Anthropology, with concentrations in Anthropology, Criminal Justice and Sociology and annually enrolls approximately 800 majors, served by 29 full-time faculty.
