Description of Work:

Website and Learning Management System Content Creator
Behavioral Health Springboard is looking to hire a person who can help build our training events and series and then market and support those trainings until they complete their cycle. This development is done our hybrid content and learning management system. The work is broken up below into discrete sections by need or task:
Content and e-commerce development
Works with website developer and event planner(s) to create and post new training or online courses to public and private areas of the Behavioral Health Springboard website. Candidate will develop e-commerce solutions, for both free and at cost events, using various cost structures, discounts or coupon codes.
Learning management content
Candidate will work in BHS learning management system to build backend training events and online courses that hold the attendees for events presented on the public facing side of the BHS website. Candidate will be responsible for customers enrollment into the correct events in the learning management system. Backend courses can include building quizzes, evaluations, and posting other resources or downloadables to the course/training page.
Marketing
Candidate will work with graphic designer and event planners to load e-mail marketing campaigns into the BHS website and launch them at directed audiences. This duty will include correcting and trimming email lists. Candidate will test e-mail subject lines against spam rules with online tools/services.
Customer Support
Candidate will support event host/planners with customer support issues. Customer issues can include updating or correcting account credentials, merging two accounts, locating purchase receipts or completion certificates.
Quality Assurance
Periodically, the position will include quality assurance surveys of older online courses. Candidate may record or fix issues on the spot for a given course. Other issues may be reported to instructional designer or website developers. Other Q/A duties may include reviewing quiz questions or evaluation data to identify poor question design or other design problem in the course page.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
Experience working in and developing content to various content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Shopify, Wix, XSitePro etc.

• Computer Science degrees are welcome but this is not a coding position.
•2+ years of online marketing/communications experience with e-commerce / shopping cart systems.
•Knowledge or experience using Content Management Systems (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Shopify, Wix, XSitePro etc.). Preferably experience with Drupal. Or have managed your own website (personal, school, church etc.).
•Knowledge or experience with Learning Management Systems (Blackboard, Canvas, Sakai, Moodle etc.). We are working with Moodle.
•Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 creation and editing.
•Knowledge of Excel or CSV files.
•Knowledge of email marketing software (Mail Chimp).
•Basic knowledge of photoshop (for resizing images)

The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing multiple projects with hard deadlines. Person will possess a keen attention to detail, demonstrate good communication skills both oral and written. This position will be working daily with other team members (event planners, designers, and developers, project managers) to launch high quality online and in-person trainings for behavioral health professionals in NC and the region.
