Directly reporting to a member of the CSI Leadership Team, this coordinator position will plan and execute programs for CU Boulder Fall Welcome, assist in developing the departmental communication and social media plans for the upcoming academic year, create assessment initiatives, provide service to those visiting the office at the CSI Front Desk, and complete special projects.

We cultivate an environment for building vibrant, engaging and safe communities through programming, leadership development, cultural awareness and learning opportunities.
We also serve as banker, bookkeeper, travel agent, purchasing department and event manager for student organizations. Student organizations using university facilities must maintain an account and conduct their business through our office. Funding for student organizations granted from university sources is also placed in appropriate accounts through us.What We Can Offer

- Salary range is $20/hr. - $24/hr.
- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Education, Communications, Psychology, or a related field. Work experience in a relevant field will be considered in lieu of the above fields of study.
- 1+ years of experience directly related to the work assignment.
- Experience and knowledge in event planning.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and campus partners to meet the goals of CSI.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize projects based on departmental needs.
- Knowledge of assessment methods, training, and facilitation strategies, and learning outcomes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to working with diverse populations and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for students at CU Boulder.
- Skills for working independently to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet weekly deadlines.
- Dependable attendance and communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email, and Internet use.
- Must be able to work some evening and/or weekends once the academic year begins.
- A current resume.
