The Charles C. Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine has an opening for a full-time Temporary Research Assistant at the established Gates Biomanufacturing Facility. This will be a 9 month position. The Gates Biomanufacturing Facility is an academic cGMP contract manufacturing facility dedicated to the development and manufacture of novel biological therapies for early phase human clinical trials. This position will be responsible for the day to day Material Coordination and Administrative Support at the Gates Biomanufacturing.

Job Information:

    Temporary Full time entry-level position at the Gates Biomanufacturing Facility located nearby the Anschutz Medical Campus. The position may require weekend work and work outside of normal work hours to accommodate material support or other critical processes which cross shifts. While not typical, this irregularity of work hours should be expected.The position will be responsible for managing and handling all materials received at GBF.  The position serves as the first point of contact for in-person vendor delivery interactions and visitors.  This position supports all of GBF with administrative functions, as needed. Report to the Director of Program Management and Supply Chain.

    This role will have the following responsibilities including but not limited to the following:Receiving, perfrms inspection, and labeling of materials and equipment Cleans, packages, kits, recnciles, and labels materials according to Standard Operating Procedures and GMP requirementsPrepares and ships materials dmestically and internationallyPerfrms cycle counts and manages office/kitchen/gowning inventoriesManaging receptin areas and schedules for conference roomsAssists with scheduling, filing, data entry, and perfrming other miscellaneous duties, as assignedMaintains accurate electrnic logs and transaction of all materials through the receiving, inventory, production and shipping processes according to FDA Good Document Practices (GDP).Maintains temperature cntrol units (TCU) for warehouse and receiving areas Assists SC Planning, Prcurement, Project Management, Operations, and Quality personnel as required.Must be able to handle and lift materials

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) has been established at $20 per hour.

Required Qualifications: 

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    1+ years receiving, shipping, and/or material/inventory control experience. Must possess a professional demeanor, with excellent interpersonal and strong customer service skills. Demonstrate strong problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Comfortable performing administrative functions, to include using office equipment and softwareMotivated self-starter capable of operating in a start-up environment, capable of addressing multiple challenges in fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

    Pharmaceutical or other FDA regulated industry experience. Familiar with cGMP and GDPExperience with MRP/ERP systems
