Serves as the UHS Accreditation Manager, responsible for directing all Accreditation activities to include managing policy review and procedure development. Ensure policies are updated annually when each year's AAAHC Standards are released and as appropriate.
Responsible for directing all Quality Improvement activities, to include chairing meetings, identification of areas of needed improvement and QI project selection. Directs and completes project development, initiation, evaluation, data analysis and reporting.
Serves as the UHS Risk Manager and directs risk management activities. Chairs the Risk Management Committee and monitors essential items related to this function. Records, monitors and tracks incident reports including cause analysis, implementing interventions and staff education to reduce risk of repeat incidents.
Conduct statistical research and reporting to assist with data driven decision making, analyses and trends. Collect and manage healthcare data to include Quality Improvement studies, Incident reports, medical visit data, and Patient Satisfaction data. Create routine summary progress reports on health center goals and indicators and provide recommendations for future metrics and assessment efforts. Responsible for supervising, directing and overseeing staff activities.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to the duties of this position; or a high school diploma/equivalency and eight years of experience related to the duties of this position.
(Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
Knowledge of reporting techniques and exposure to reporting tools
Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of data collection.
Skill in preparing clear and concise reports, policies, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials
Ability to identify trends, predict impact of actions on system operations, detect discrepancies in the function of an organization, and take necessary action to correct performance.
Position requires pre-employment PPD (TB) and requires successful completion of post hire OSHA/HIPAA training.University Information
