Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the management and coordination of technology-based resources for the Office of Enrollment Management.
Coordinates application development and system configuration for the Office of Enrollment Management. Represents functional needs and establishes application requirements. Tests, debugs, and troubleshoots new and modified systems. Coordinates the testing teams comprised of subject matter experts.
Identification of potential technology-based solutions to maximize efficiency of business processes and procedures. Design, development, and implementation of internal integrated computing solutions. Makes suggestions as to adaptations when direct integration is not feasible. Includes requirements gathering, creation of design specifications, coding, testing, and troubleshooting.


Management and maintenance of academic structure in coordination with Registrar and Institutional Research based on updates made to the Degree Program Inventory. Manages the External Organization database in Campus Solutions and Slate based on applicants' prior academic history. Developing configuration activities for annual financial aid cycles.


Analyzes current and emerging technologies and provides recommendations for their use, with particular regard to enhancing the communication function, operational effectiveness, and optimal usability. Documentation of processes and procedures relating to and involving software solutions. Performs reporting, data analysis, and data administration functions. Downloads, formats, and reviews data to meet reporting requirements for various test score files. Support initiatives across Enrollment Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

Experience and comfort working with a variety of computer software applications, databases, and student information systems (PeopleSoft).

Experience with enterprise software configuration and implementation.

Experience in IT (Information Technology) system administration, including user and configuration management.

Preferred

A bachelor's degree and four years of experience in enrollment services. Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced work environment. Experience implementing and/or supporting new initiatives (policy, technology, procedure, etc.). Experience with Enrollment Management operations and application processing. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills desired.
