The University of North Texas (UNT) Student Health and Wellness center is a full service medical center offering general wellness and specialty medical care to all UNT students. The Student Health and Wellness Center is staffed with licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, certified lab technologists, psychiatrists, registered nurses, registered dietitians, radiology technicians, and massage therapists.

To provide nursing care for patients at the UNT Student Health and Wellness Center.Minimum Qualifications:
Current Texas licensed vocational nurse and one year of LVN experience in a hospital, clinic, or private physician practice.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of medications, their use, and means of administration.
• Practical working knowledge of nursing procedures, methods, and techniques.
• Ability to perform nursing duties while standing or walking for long period of time.
• Knowledge of safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed.
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications: * Previous college healthcare experience. * Experience with an EHR.Work Schedule:

Charts, codes, and charges all patient encounters according to current coding guidelines.o:
Assists medical providers in evaluating and treating patients.o:
Performs scheduled checks of assigned work areas and turns in appropriate signed form indicating completion.o:
