The Michigan State University Exposure Science Laboratory housed in the College of Human Medicine is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate to (1) help support NIH-funded research activities including performing various chemical and data analyses and publishing/presenting data, (2) participate in the design/conduct of experiments and assist with production of interdisciplinary proposals, and (3) develop his/her own research projects for extramural funding and career development. This lab often collaborates with investigators in diverse disciplines including medicine, engineering, and toxicology and provides sampling and analysis capabilities and expert consultation services. The initial appointment is for one year, with further appointments contingent on funding and performance.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement

Doctorate - Environmental health sciences, exposure sciences, engineering or other related fieldMinimum Requirements
- Ph.D. in environmental health sciences, exposure sciences, engineering or other related field.
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience using and calibrating sensitive laboratory equipment (e.g. ICP-MS).
- Applicant must be eligible to apply NIH and/or equivalent fellowships.
- Highly self-motivated, excellent organizational and project management skills
- Experience using statistical analysis software
- Successful record of collaborative research projects and report/manuscript writing
