Senior Program Coordinator....Center for Academic Equity

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

The Senior Program Coordinator for the Center for Academic Equity (CAE) reports to the Associate Director. This role will manage all new and existing mentoring programs designed to promote academic success among Posse, College Track, Black, Indigenous, People of Color, first generation college, LGBTQ+ identifying, DACA and Undocumented, Louisiana Promise, and other underrepresented undergraduate students at Tulane University. The Senior Program Coordinator be responsible for maintaining accurate records, compiling and analyzing data on CAE student cohorts and curating reports. This role is responsible for taking an assessment-focused lead on program development for the Center. The Senior Program Coordinator facilitates student engagement designed to expand opportunities for students CAE cohorts within the center and across the university.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
OR

  • Bachelor’s degree/equivalent and 3years of directly related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in higher education,or other related field
  • Supervision experience
  • Experience managing program budgets
  • Experience working with professors andstaff in a university setting
  • Experience planning programs andevents for undergraduate students
  • Prior work experience supportingunderrepresented, and underserved student
