Advertised Job Summary:

The College of HRSM seeks to hire a Human Resources Coordinator to collaborate with the Director of Human Resources in support of ongoing employee functions involving faculty, staff, students, and temporary hires. The successful candidate will initiate hires and process required HR actions, assisting with onboarding duties, and initiating I-9 Advantage E-Verify employment authorization through DHL. The successful candidate will initiate, manage, and maintain EPMS evaluations for the College of HRSM; provide compliant-based responses to ongoing employee HR inquiries, process actions related to summer salary (ECOM), dual employment, bonus requests, pay for performance, and FMLA. The successful candidate will track and approve ITAMS, execute terminations as appropriate, and work as needed on special projects; and ensure compliance with University, State, and Federal policies and procedures; while maintaining a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with PeopleAdmin applicant tracking database, and HCM.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to human resources activities. Ability to interpret and execute administrative policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
