(Contingent upon available funding): 11.80 - 13.15, Hourly Work Schedule: Typically 8 hrs/day, 5 days/week Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The Patient Service Representative is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality customer service and continuation of care. The Patient Service Representative is utilized in performing typical front office functions and referrals. The Patient Service Representative is under the overall on-site supervision of the Psychiatry Office Manager.
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

-Be innovative Education & Experience Position Qualifications:
Required:- High school diploma or GED- Six (6) months related job experience in a medical office or equivalent- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsPreferred:
- Previous front office and insurance experience in a health clinic setting- Experience working with computers and software, performing data entry, answering the telephone, and scheduling appointments- Ability to take telephone messages and have an understanding of medical terminology- Experience with Electronic Medical Records; EPIC highly desirable
