Job Description

Improvement Consultant for the Heart of MO-RPDC’s Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support Tiers 1, 2, and 3

This position will assist the State of Missouri in the implementation of a state-wide system of technical assistance related to School-Wide Positive Behavior Support (SW-PBS) at Tiers 1, 2, and 3. The individual hired in this position must live and work in the Heart of MO-Regional Professional Development Center’s Region 2 area.

Work shall primarily focus on building state-wide capacity for training and technical assistance delivery through the Regional Professional Development Centers (RPDC) School-Wide Positive Behavior Support consultants in collaboration with the Tier 1, 2, and 3 consultants.

Work in conjunction with MO School-Wide Positive Behavior Support staff to achieve goals of initiative related to Tier 1, 2, and 3 development and dissemination.

Provide school districts’ training associated with building and implementing
Tiers 1, 2, and 3.

Develop training materials and curriculum.

Provide training and technical assistance to MO School-Wide Positive Behavior Support staff with location in the Heart of MO-RPDC areas.

Create and complete reports and assessments of progress.

Other duties as assigned by the Heart of MO-RPDC Director.

Salary

Salary: $50,000 annual as approved by grant funding

GGS Grade: 10

University Title: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR PROGRAM/PROJECT OPERATIONS

Shift

Monday - Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants will be considered based on the following preferred qualifications:

A Master’s level is required.

This position requires a strong background in educational pedagogy, research and data analysis. It also requires a thorough understanding of intensive interventions and behavioral analysis. Two to three years’ experience is required either as a teacher or higher-level instructor of educational coursework. Training in functional behavioral assessment/analysis (FBA) and research methods is required.
