Job Description The University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry seeks a non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor or tenure-eligible Assistant/Associate in the Department of Periodontics for the position of Director of the Advanced Education Program in Periodontics. Specific responsibilities will concentrate on all aspects of the didactic and clinical training of periodontal residents. These will include but are not limited to:- Coordination of all resident didactic curriculum and seminars
- Organizing and preparing the curriculum, administrative responsibilities, supervisory responsibilities
- Clinical coordination of resident training
- DMD/DDS is required
- American Board certification in Periodontics is required
- Experience in the placement of dental implants is required
- Certification in IV Conscious Sedation is required
- Eligibilityfor Missouri Dental Faculty Licensure is required
