Postdoctoral Scholar in Immunology
The Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Nicholas Bernthal will perform translational research to understand how the innate immune system recognizes and responds to pathogens in bone micro environment. Successful candidates will conduct innovative research to understand host-pathogen interactions and mechanisms of post-surgical infections. This position requires a Ph.D. in immunology or related field with a primary background in the immunology of host-pathogen interactions including innate and adaptive immune cell signaling and cytokine biology. The Postdoctoral Scholar position is a non-Senate position for 12-months in the first instance. Step is commensurate with experience.
