Position Summary:

This position will create awareness of the services offered by Auxiliary Services and promote/improve the goodwill of those units. It will conduct activities to help provide a positive image of the Auxiliary Services Division. To do so, the incumbent will be responsible for building relationships with the management teams in each department and promote awareness of the work being done in the division. The position will receive its primary guidance and direction from the Creative Services Manager, Marketing and Communications Director and from time to time may receive additional guidance and direction through the Associate Director of Auxiliary Services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Use PR related methods to assist with copy writing for the promotion of Auxiliary events, initiatives, and internal communications.
Assist with planning, developing and writing copy for various media platforms; edit press releases and feature stories on activities of Auxiliary Services.
Produce copy for internal newsletters and contribute to Finance and Administration Newsletter. Produce copy for the department as needed including press releases, articles, and award nominations. Assist with internal communication efforts such as writing copy for internal announcements and emails.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Works with Marketing & Communications Manager and Auxiliary Managers to coordinate special events and Auxiliary Services Orientation efforts.
Assists in planning special events by coordinating details and carrying out administrative functions to execute events.
Leads and manages the Auxiliary & Meal Plan Ambassador Program. Plans, implements and follows through with additional promotional events such as Continue to Dine, Spring and Summer meal plan sales, resource fairs, and off-season orientations.
Advertises Ambassador program, interviews, and hires students. Work with volunteer managers to lead Ambassador team. Plans schedules and responsibilities for Ambassadors. Manages Ambassador students to perform work duties and maintain level of customer service. Sell meal plans.

Advertises program. Interviews and accepts applicants. Plans meeting calendar and agenda. Coordinates with appropriates parties to execute meetings. Communicates with Student Partners.

Manages Digital and Tabletop advertising program.
Reviews advertising requests and communicates with requesting department. Approves or denies requests and artwork. Sends information to accounting and printing department. Maintains design standard. Keeps records of requests and sales. Ensures sales are made each semester. Ensures correct ads are displayed during correct time periods.
