Assoc Director, Finance SM&C
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations, the Associate Director of Finance is responsible for providing integrated financial support to the Strategic Marketing & Communications Department. The incumbent manages and oversees the daily operations of the financial unit including purchasing, accounts payable and budget office reporting as well as management of non-compensation budgets, both portfolio and non-project (overhead). Assists on overall budget planning, forecasting, and reporting. Anticipates, identifies, and resolves issues and opportunities. Advises leadership on financial modeling and risk assessment. Participates in developing, implementing, documenting, and communicating financial and budgetary policies, procedures and guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related degree and at least four years of significant work experience in financial management, budgeting, strategic planning, business development, and a leadership/supervisory role. Demonstrated experience in projecting utilization statistics and reviewing financial projections. Experience analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, financial procedures, and/or governmental regulations.
