Job Summary

Responsible for providing general food service-related jobs that may include administrative, delivery, cashier, serving, stocking, receiving, and dishwashing duties. Job Duty 1 -
Provide professional customer service skills.

Job Duty 2 -
Responsible for ensuring the assigned areas are cleaned according to set guidelines and work is performed in accordance with health department sanitation and university system guidelines.

Job Duty 3 -
Operate point-of-sale devices as cashier on an as needed basis.

Job Duty 4 -
Maintain, repair and clean utensils, equipment, and work areas. Report damaged equipment or utensils to manager/supervisors on duty.

Job Duty 5 -
Provide clean and sanitary cooking and preparation areas throughout the work shift.

Job Duty 6 -
Participate in training temporary and student employees.

Job Duty 7 -
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
Two to three years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Current ServSafe Certification

Preferred Experience
Three or more years of job-related experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Must have open availability to include nights and weekends. Be courteous and dependable. The ability to follow oral and written instructions, work with diverse population, and take direction.

Experience with cash handling preferred

This job requires good customer service skills to include being courteous and dependable.
