Job Summary: The LPN is responsible for facilitating quality patient care and treatment within the scope of his/her license by providing medical/surgical assistance to physicians and registered nurses and by preparing patients for visits. In addition, the LPN may screen calls, schedule appointments and follow-up visits, and provide nursing care as authorized by current certifications.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma. Must have an active license as a LPN in the State of Alabama.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier. Final candidates who are not current Brewer-Porch Children's Center employees must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
