This position is responsible for the successful operation of CloudPOS and mobile ordering systems.Minimum Education/Experience:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a related degree to the area of assignment and four years of accounting, auditing, or systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (A Certified Public Accountant certificate may be substituted for two years of the required education or two years of the required experience.)Essential Job Duties:
This position is responsible for the successful operation of CloudPOS and mobile ordering systems. The systems administrator will oversee system attached hardware including but not limited to vending, copy and print, retail POS, door access and card production. They will assist in coordinating the exchange of data between various university systems such as Transact, RMS Housing, Banner, ODS and other departmental solutions as well as enforcing data integrity and standards. The system administrator controls system users and are responsible for assigning the appropriate rights and privileges to those end users. Track and maintain data as dictated by departmental and university policy. Position supervises a Tech Support Analyst and Student Worker.Other Work Responsibilities:
Direct responsibility for secure handling of sensitive and/or confidential information, Direct access to, or responsibility for, cash and cash equivalents, credit card information, University property disbursements or receipts, or extensive authority for committing the financial resources of the University., Master key access to buildings, or other secure facilities, Direct responsibility for daily, or regular, operation of State or University-owned vehicles.Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Prefer three or more years in a University setting with extensive experience or responsibility for:
-Transact Transaction System, Cloud Point of Sale
-Entrust ID Card production software
Prefer Transact/Blackboard Transact Administrator CertificationWork Location:
