Required Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and experience in research, basic science or clinical laboratory particularly clinical trial research.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and a minimum of three years' research and/or clinical experience; previous supervisory experience.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Must be highly motivated

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databasePreferred Qualifications Cell culture, mouse tissue collection, and molecular cell biology techniques.Responsibilities Identify mechanisms of inflammation in retina- and choroid-related vasculopathies. The primary roles will be to manage animal colony for in vivo experiments, expose pups and adult mice to oxygen-induced and laser-induced retinal injury, harvest and analyze tissue samples, and assist with interpretation of study results. The position will also assist with general laboratory management including vivarium care and gene identification and ordering supplies as needed. The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Cell culture and mouse tissue collection.
- Molecular biology assays of cultured cells and tissue; Western blot, qRT-PCR.
- Tissue sectioning and histology.
- Data analysis and record keeping.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
