Position Highlights:

Please note: This requisition has been moved from Internal only to Internal and External.

Assisting in lab and with fieldwork on projects dealing with ecology and conservation of herpetofauna.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fieldwork with reptiles
  • Handle reptiles in the field and lab
  • Compile and maintain data
  • Maintain equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergrad degree in life sciences-related field with experience working in the field with wildlife.
  • Experience in dentification of snakes and lizards.
  • Experience in handling procedures of snakes and lizards, including venomous species.
