Job Description Summary

This position will assist with various Human Resources tasks. The HR Summer Worker may support multiple areas of the Human Resources department, including HR Services, Total Rewards, Employee Relations & Title IX, and/or Learning & Development. This is a temporary role with an anticipated end date of August 20, 2021.

Job Description

DUTIES AND TASKS:
  • File, data entry, scanning, processing of employment applications, and other administrative support.

  • Manage a multi-line phone system and distribute calls as needed.

  • Manage and coordinate administrative and office functions.

  • Act as a liaison with University campus offices.

  • Maintain all necessary paperwork associated with human capital.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge:
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • Must be a currently enrolled Saint Leo University student.

Skills:
  • Excellent oral, written and analytical skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Abilities:
  • Ability to plan and organize work.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work well with others.
