Part-time Adjunct Faculty
Aurora Fox Valley Campus
This posting is for online synchronous teaching at this time. There is currently no face to face teaching.
Provide instruction and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness in courses assigned by the division Assistant Dean. An adjunct faculty position requires professionals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates for this position must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask as well as the ability to engage large groups of people with complicated material. They must also be able to use technology sufficiently to use a learning management system (canvas) and respond to email.
Areas of instruction needed for Fall 2021 (8/23/21-12/18/21)
Minimum Qualifications
Education Required: Master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
Experience Required: Two years teaching experience and/or equivalent occupational experience in the field of human services.
Other Required Qualifications: Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association (IAODAPCA) certification.
Current LCSW or LSW
Preferred:
Two years teaching experience at the community college level.
