MRI DataBase Analyst Position
Our lab at Duke University Medical Center is seeking a full time (40 hours/week) MRI data analyst to join our interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, neuroscientists, engineers, and clinical psychologists. Our lab specializes in the study of the function and organization of brain circuits across development from infancy to adolescence.
We are seeking to hire a full-time MRI data analyst who is interested in investigating the development of brain structure, connectivity, and function using computational image analysis and modeling.
· MRI Data Analyst
· Background in biomedical or electrical engineering with experience in MRI data analysis
· Flexible starting date, but would prefer someone who can start in the Fall of 2021
· We are looking for someone who is willing to make a 2–3-year commitment
· Desired skills:
o Programming: MATLAB or python, shell scripting, cluster computing
o Statistics: R, SAS, or SPSS
Work requires a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or a computer related field.
Work requires 4years of progressive programming or database OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE administration experience to include design, implementation, tuning, backup, recovery, modification and reorganization of relational databases for a complex computer network.
