The community inclusion work and research focus on combating the ongoing challenge of spatial inequality, including discriminatory land use policies and practices that have led to the physical, political, social, and economic exclusion and isolation of low-wealth and minority communities; housing discrimination and residential segregation; environmental injustice; and economic deprivation in minority families and communities.
