Dr. Jasmine Zhou's lab in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA has an immediate opening for Assistant Project Scientist with expertise in computational analysis, statistical modeling, and liquid biopsy.

The applicant must have Ph.D. degree relating to bioinformatics, statistics, or computer sciences. He/she shall have at least one first-authored paper in the area of liquid biopsy (cell-free DNA analysis), published in a reputable journal. Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, or Python are preferred. The applicant shall have good knowledge in next-generation sequencing and epigenomic data analytics. The applicant shall be collaborative and must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Prior experiences in working with clinicians are desirable.
