The UCLA Anderson Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) team provides relevant content and connections to the Anderson community of 40,000 alumni worldwide to meet their ever-changing needs as they move forward through their career.
The Digital Marketing Manager manages, designs, and implements strategic marketing and communication efforts through the alumni website, email marketing campaigns, social media, and other digital platforms. They are charged with creating and building awareness for a curated set of news, stories, resources and events to drive engagement. Further, the Manager launches broad event marketing campaigns including Alumni Weekend, Summer Series, Worldwide Welcome Weeks and Reunions. Finally, the manager is responsible for On-going content marketing efforts include Class Notes, Alumni Career Services, and [email protected]'s monthly alumni newsletter.
The Digital Marketing Manager provides leadership and expertise in best practices for email marketing, website development, and content management. The manager must leverage the power of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create targeted marketing campaigns that help to drive alumni engagement. He/she is able to analyze data to produce reports evaluating campaign effectiveness and take the necessary steps to improve it. He/she ensures that all digital communications are in line with UCLA brand guidelines, reflecting a professional level of quality and conveying the school's brand and visual identity. The manager is the lead webmaster for Alumni Network websites and the lead digital designer for all alumni web pages, email communications, and social media. In addition, the manager will be an integral part of the collaborative team to define and build a new personalized, interactive, online alumni community leveraging Salesforce Community Cloud. Additional Community Cloud related duties will evolve as the new alumni community takes shape. Periodically, he/she will also provide photography, social media and other general support at events as well as occasional print design support. Finally, the Manager will work independently with oversight and direction from the Associate Director, employing strategic analysis to take actions and make decisions that support OAR's long-term goals.
