The Framingham Heart Study Brain Aging Program (FHS-BAP) is responsible for neuropsychological, neurological, and brain imaging exams with participants in all FHS cohorts. We provide ongoing surveillence of participants who have been flagged as possibly having cognitive impairment. We also do consensus review of flagged participants to determine endpoints related to whether they have dementia, to what degree, and due to which etiology.

Primary responsibilities will be the recruitment of FHS participants from the 2nd and 3rd generations, the New Offspring Spouses (NOS), and both Omni cohorts, to take part in Brain MRI/Neuropsychological/Brain Donation/Traumatic Brain Injury/PET/Digital Health Studies. Other responsibilities related to recruiting include printing of examination forms, mailings, mailing appointment confirmation letters and making appointment reminder calls along with sending out study related information (questionnaires, consent forms, etc.). The position also requires coordinating with others within FHS (e.g., related to recruitment procedures) and outside FHS (e.g., scheduling MRI scans with the Wellness Center). The candidate will also be required to do some data entry, and various projects/tasks will be assigned on occasion.

This multi-faceted position requires someone who is mature, independent, self-initiating, and comfortable working in an unstructured, non-traditional, dynamically evolving research environment with little supervision. Bachelor's degree, 1-3 years of research experience (that occurred in conjunction with attainment of bachelor's degree is acceptable), and valid driver's license are also required.
