Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of two years' experience in a regionally-accredited higher education Institution or relevant work environment.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to find, evaluate and recommend solutions to problems
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently
Formulates logical and objective conclusions and recommendations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
Interpersonal skills suited to working with both technical and non-technical personnel
Knowledge of university academic policy and procedures as it relates to Augusta University, in addition to USG rules and regulations
Demonstrates strong analytical skills to identify issues, determine sources of information and gather and synthesize data from multiple sourcesPreferred Qualifications Knowledge of BANNER, Acalog, Curriculog, and Degreeworks.Responsibilities The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Curriculog - Serves as liaison for reviewing all proposed curriculum requests to ensure it meets academic, institutional, and USG policies for reporting, ensures proposals are complete and accurate prior to launching the approval process
  • Curriculum - Reviews and processes curriculum proposals/changes (program and course) for administrative compliance with policies and regulations at the University, works to ensure appropriate information is submitted for a complete and accurate catalog and student system. Provides ongoing maintenance of the Institution's electronic curriculum management system
  • Degreeworks - Serves as Registrar Degreeworks Administrator in curriculog to coordinate the implementation of approved program and course requests, review and audit current programming In the systems to ensure accuracy with the catalog, student information system, academic, and institutional policies.
  • Website - Maintains Registrar website content related to the curriculum system, completes monthly review and provides signoff of website content, additionally responsible for creating and updating user instruction for all curriculum systems
  • Other Duties - Perform all other related duties as assigned within the scope of the Registrar's Office.
Shift/Salary Shift: M-F/8a-5p (Work outside of the normal business hours may be required.)
