The Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for a 1.0 full-time faculty at the rank of Clinical Instructor or above for a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to provide full-scope clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology as a member of the University’s Women Care practice. Outpatient duties include primarily OB care, annual visits, and gynecologic care including contraception. This job will also include staffing of the the OB Inpatient Labor and Delivery and post-partum unit, and Emergency Department gynecologic service. Inpatient labor and delivery services will be delivered as part of an interprofessional education program with the CNM leading a group of learners. The applicant must understand that OB outpatient care is the current primary responsibility. This job involves the education of advanced practice provider and medical students and may include resident education in the future.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position has been established at:

Instructor: $95,490-$100,256

Senior Instructor: $100,257-$111,529

Assistant Professor: $111,530-125,673

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Instructor:

    Licensed Certified Nurse-Midwife licensed in the State of Colorado.  Current RN, APN and RxN licensures in good standing (Any State)
      Could be working toward CO clinical licenses during application process and registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies. Must have Colorado licensures by date of hire.
    A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNM in full scope obstetric and gynecologic care
Senior Instructor

    Licensed Certified Nurse-Midwife licensed in the State of Colorado.  Current RN, APN and RxN licensures in good standing (Any State)
      Could be working toward CO clinical licenses during application process and registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies. Must have Colorado licensures by date of hire.
    A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNM in full scope obstetric and gynecologic care
Assistant Professor:

    Licensed Certified Nurse-Midwife licensed in the State of Colorado.  Current RN, APN and RxN licensures in good standing (Any State)
      Could be working toward CO clinical licenses during application process and registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies. Must have Colorado licensures by date of hire.
    A Doctoral Degree in Nurse Midwifery (either a DNP or PhD)A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNM in full scope obstetric and gynecologic care
Preferred Qualifications:

Instructor:

    Limited OB Ultrasound skillsExperience as a clinical educator
Senior Instructor:

    Limited OB Ultrasound skillsExperience as a clinical educator
Assistant Professor:

    Limited OB Ultrasound skillsExperience as clinical educator
