Assists in the management of the University Health Services (UHS) network infrastructure. Supporting over 50 servers, storage solutions, and network switches. Support over 400 workstations, mobile devices, printers, and, scanners. Including the inventory and upgrades of various hardware and software components.

Assist in the management of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, digital radiology, and other practice management software for use within UHS. Responsible for technical assistance of Windows-based applications and devices

Assists in the monitoring and maintenance of the Health and Wellness Center network and networking resources, and provides support and technical guidance for UHS patient portal and mobile applications.

Assists in the implementation, configuration, planning, maintenance and training of new and existing privacy and security technologies aimed at providing a secure network environment for all UHS related and vendor hosted data.

Acts as the technical administrator for the University Health Center's digital radiology system that includes Digital Radiography, Electrocardiogram (EKG), and Ultrasound.


Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma/equivalency and four years of experience related to the duties of this position.

(Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.)

Ability to convey technical information to technical and nontechnical users.

Knowledge of applicable computer software and operating systems.

Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures for computer support.

Knowledge of computer operations, functions, and related peripherals.

Knowledge of managing server infrastructure including virtual machines.

Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures for server support.

Ability to document existing and new processes.

Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Position requires pre-employment PPD (TB)
