Football Scouting Assistant

Position Summary

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Michigan State University is searching for a candidate to fill a Football Scouting Assistant position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Report to the Director of Player Personnel in regards to all duties related to the identification and evaluation of prospective student-athletes
  • Manage a student workforce including the hiring of, and guide them through database management
  • Perform game day recruiting responsibilities with prospects prior to and after home football games
  • Assist with summer camps
  • Assists with prospect visits where needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Facilitate all aspects of the football recruiting Databases.
    • XOs video Database creation and management
    • ARMS Database upkeep and management
    • Coordinate the evaluation and identification or PSAs on a given side of the ball

Minimum Requirements

One to four years working or volunteering in a Division I Football Personnel Office
