The Department of World Languages and Cultures at Spelman College is seeking applications for a part-time Latin/Greek instructor position for the 2021-2022 academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach one to two (1-2) Latin language classes at a beginning or intermediate level, including the responsibilities for designing the syllabus, grading students’ work, and offering regular office hours for academic advisement. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to work with other faculty members in support of Spelman College’s goal to achieve excellence in teaching.Qualifications:
Master of Arts (M.A.) in Latin and Greek.
Native or near-native proficiency in English.
