Assist in supervising day to day activities of up to 40 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years at the University’s childcare center including assisting with and leading educational & recreational activities/programs, serving meals & snacks and supervising rest periods.Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading/supervising childcare program activities including educational, recreational, arts & crafts, and special events.
- Participate in games. Teach activities such as simple drawing, painting, songs, etc.
- Maintain order & discipline. Direct children in eating, resting and toileting.
- Serve meals & refreshments.
- Perform routine housekeeping: sweep floors, wash dishes, wash crib linens, blankets, towels, etc.
Prescribed, established procedures are primarily used to perform the essential functions of this position.Budgetary Responsibility:
