Location  

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The Bagwell College of Education is one of the top two producers of new teachers in the State of Georgia. 

Job Summary   The Bagwell College of Education at Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience. Appointment to an academic home department within the Bagwell College of Education will be made at the time of hiring.

Responsibilities  

Positions are available for clinical supervision and evaluation of teacher candidates, teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as advising and working with a diverse community.

Required Qualifications  

An earned Master's, Ed.S. or Doctorate degree in an applicable area of specialization is required,  Part-time faculty may not work for other University System schools while employed by Kennesaw State University. 

Faculty are hired as needed on a semester to semester basis. Fall semester faculty are hired in June, Spring semester faculty are hired in October, and Summer faculty are hired in March.

    Ed.D. or Ph.D. in education or a related fieldSpecific experiences or skills (e.g., prior teaching, familiarity with specific techniques)Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse communityExperience teaching on-line or hybrid coursesRecord of past teaching at a particular level (e.g., graduate vs. undergraduate) or area (sub-discipline)Post-doc experienceExperience in a clinical practice
