Assistant Project Scientist - Civil and Environmental Engineering
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley welcomes applications for an Assistant Project Scientist to perform research in the life-cycle environmental impacts of building and wastewater systems.
Responsibilities:
- Research the life-cycle environmental impacts of building and wastewater systems
- Complex analysis of systems over time and with changing data
- Perform literature review, and find and analyze relevant studies
- Collect data on the environmental impacts of infrastructure systems
- Analyze findings, document findings, make recommendations for lowering the environmental impacts
- Analysis of data collected from multiple sources in order to solve multidisciplinary problems
- Preparation of research results for publication and presentation of results at meetings
This position provides full Health & Welfare and Retirement Benefits. This position is covered by the UC-UAW collective bargaining agreement for Academic Researchers.
