Position Summary:

The part-time, assistant laboratory manager in the Black Fly Lab will work in close association with the laboratory manager and the student worker staff to see that all laboratory duties are completed for the day at hand. Typical tasks involved in
maintaining the black fly colony include preparing the larval food material, filling and maintain the larval feeding system, collecting and handling the emerging adult flies, cleaning the aquatic rearing units, cleaning the associated systems and materials, assisting in conducting laboratory experiments and performing associated tasks. Manage 3-4 undergraduate student workers.
