To provide individual, embedded, and group tutoring to students in the Manassas Tutoring Center either in-person or virtually. This position will also review academic papers as submitted.
Subjects needed include a combination of the following:
The tutor will also be expected to provide administrative, outreach, and clerical support to the Tutoring Center including Navigate (scheduling) and SmarterTrack (communication) coverage.Special Assignments:
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.KSA's/Required Qualifications:
-Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
-Availability to work a flexible schedule.
-Individual must have completed the equivalent of one year of college-level coursework with a B or better in the subjects intended to tutor.
-Experience in a customer service or education position.
An Associates degree with a B or better in the subjects intended to tutor. Bilingual.Operation of a State Vehicle:
