Position Highlights:

The primary function of this position is to coordinate logistics for the men’s basketball team and assist in the development of student-athletes well-being.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with the Compliance Office and CATS Academics on initial eligibility & admissions of all potential student-athletes
  • Serve as an Academic liaison to CATS Academics
  • Coordinate player community service
  • Oversee Alumni Engagement with Arizona Athletics and Men’s Basketball Program
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge of position related NCAA, Pac-12, and University of Arizona rules and compliance
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience as a player, manager, or staff member of a basketball program
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience as a collegiate basketball player
