Position Summary:

The Director of Student and Graduate Success will work as a member of the CDO team and would report to and work closely with the Assistant Dean for Career Development. The Director will counsel students and recent graduates about all aspects of the job search process, assist with outreach to employers, create programs, assist with job fairs, and participate in the collection and reporting of employment statistics.

Educational Requirements:

Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required; for candidates demonstrating comparable independent educational or instructional activities associated with the delivery and/or management of student support functions, will accept a relevant undergraduate degree and relevant experience in substitution. Preference for candidates with a Juris Doctorate.

Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates should possess knowledge of the legal industry. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, initiative and demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively with key constituencies (employers, law alumni, faculty, students and members of the law school s administrative team) with minimal supervision. Candidates should have strong writing and public speaking abilities, outgoing personality, and excellent organizational skills. Candidates should also be familiar and comfortable with conducting online research and managing data bases as needed.
