Essential Job Duties:

Conduct research in the field of toxicology using new automated microscopy systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute laboratory experiments in toxicology and immunotoxicology using in vivo (zebrafish) and in vitro (human cell culture) models. Organize and execute toxicology-based experiments to evaluate computer automated in vivo imaging of zebrafish embryos to manual imaging of embryos. Organize and execute immunotoxicology-based experiments to evaluate the impact of PFAS exposure on zebrafish embryos and human cell lines. Maintain multiple zebrafish lines and human cell culture lines. Supervise undergraduate student researchers.

Work Schedule:

M-F, 8-5. (this schedule may vary depending on work load and may include weekend and evening hours)
