- Experiments including growth phenotypic analysis, system level approaches, bioreactor setup, isolation of DNA and RNA and cloning.
- Contributing to writing manuscripts
- Ordering supplies for the different projects of the lab
- Maintaining strain, primer, and plasmid libraries organized and updated
- Maintaining chemical catalog organized and updated
- Experience in microbial growth
- Experience with sterile techniques
- Experience with basic biochemical techniques: Protein purification, liquid chromatography
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, or Biochemistry, or related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Experience in lab research for 2+ years
- Experience with system level approaches such as metabolomics and RNA-seq
Salary & Benefits
This position is a non-exempt, bi-weekly paid position. Hourly pay for this role is commensurate with experience.
