Job Summary
Provide advanced administrative support to the Office of Admissions within the area of New Student & Family Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Maintain New Student & Family Programs departmental budgets and prepares weekly budget reports
  • Work with balance sheets to process invoices, income collection through event registration, and process and settle payments
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of events such as SOAR (Southern's Orientation Advisement & Registration) and Family Weekends
  • Assist in supervising student assistants for the Office of Admissions

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Other Required Qualifications
  • One or more years of post-secondary education

Required Experience
  • Three or more years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Associate degree

Preferred Experience
  • Experience supervising students
  • Experience with Quicken and budget management

Proposed Salary
$33,300
