Responsibilities The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at Florida State University invites applicants for a 9-month Visiting Teaching Faculty I position in Japanese beginning August 9, 2021. The position would be for one year with the possibility of renewal.Candidates should demonstrate ability to teach a variety of courses in the undergraduate curriculum, particularly in Japanese elementary and intermediate language courses.The selected candidate is expected to teach 4 courses per semester.Qualifications Doctoral degree or highest level terminal degree from an accredited institution in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching. Native or near native proficiency in Japanese and English are required.Applicants are required to have their degree conferred by August 30, 2021.
