Assistant Instructor Fixed Term
The Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the Eli Broad College of Business is seeking applications for a Spring semester fixed term faculty member with responsibilities in co-teaching graduate students along with a faculty co-instructor. The primary co-teaching responsibility will be for a graduate level capstone course in the Transaction Services Track of the MS in Accounting program. Additional duties include student advising. This is a recurring spring semester course. Candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5-8 years relevant extensive professional experience in mergers and acquisitions consulting. There are no research requirements for this position. The position will start January 1, 2022.

The position of Assistant Instructor requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university along with significant experience in the desired area of expertise and relevant professional certifications.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of excellent teaching skills to a diverse student body and/or significant work experience and relevant professional certifications in the area of accounting.
