Essential Job Duties:

The job of Classroom Support Technician, under general supervision, performs a wide variety of moderately difficult classroom and media support tasks. These include, but not limited to, the following:

Assists faculty and personnel in basic operations of classroom technologies, digital media applications, interactive boards and computer equipment; Provides support for internal/external circulation of specific instructional technology; Performs general tasks as assigned in digital media classroom environment; Promotes a professional image while assisting with faculty with lecture capture, special presentations, and/or assisting end-users with their technology needs; Display excellent customer services skills; Must have the ability to work independently; Deliver/stock supplies for classrooms; Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of classroom spaces; Assist with video/web conferencing applications as needed (once trained); Must dress appropriately for work at all times; Must be punctual at all times (tardiness will be cause for dismissal); Must advise supervisor when unable to report to work; Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Experience/Education:

Must be able to perform general computer application tasks; work without close supervision; communicate effectively, orally, and in writing; maintain, establish, and cultivate cooperative working relationships with faculty and staff reflecting a service attitude; effectively utilize training to assist faculty and staff in classroom operations.
