The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing invoices in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner in a high volume, fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. The job requires the individual to be a team player with the ability to function in a challenging and dynamic environment.  The Accounts Payable Coordinator must be enthusiastic, positive, dependable, possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, flexible, able to multi-task, and act professionally when dealing with colleagues and vendors.  This position requires confidential information to be handled in a discreet and professional manner. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least one (1) year of recent Accounts Payable experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Required Skills & Abilities:
* Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
* Ability to work as part of a team or independently as needed
Strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
* Work with a sense of urgency when dealing with time sensitive matters
* Ability to multi-task and learn new skills
* Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and initiative

Preferred:
* Previous experience with Banner ERP
* Familiarity with Concur solutions software
* Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite

This position is temporarily assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
